Lyophilized peptide vial (e.g., BPC-157, TB500, HGH)
-
Bacteriostatic water (BAC)
-
3 mL syringe with drawing needle
-
Optional: Venting needle (e.g., insulin syringe without plunger)
-
Alcohol swabs
-
Sterile 3 mL pen cartridge
-
Reusable peptide pen
-
Pen needles (typically 29G–32G)
🔹 Step 1: Clean & Prepare
-
Wash your hands thoroughly.
-
Sanitize the tops of your peptide vial and cartridge with alcohol swabs.
-
Lay out all supplies on a clean surface.
🔹 Step 2: Reconstitute the Peptide
-
Draw the required amount of bacteriostatic water into your syringe.
-
Insert the needle into the peptide vial, angling it toward the side to avoid damaging the peptide.
-
Slowly inject the water into the vial.
-
Gently swirl (do not shake) the vial until the peptide is fully dissolved.
🔹 Step 3: Load the Cartridge
-
Draw the reconstituted peptide solution into your syringe.
-
Insert a venting needle into the side of the cartridge stopper to allow air to escape.
-
Slowly inject the peptide solution into the centre of the cartridge.
-
Remove the venting needle after filling.
🔹 Step 4: Assemble the Pen
-
Insert the filled cartridge into the pen's cartridge holder.
-
Securely attach the cartridge holder to the pen body, ensuring it clicks into place.
🔹 Step 5: Prime the Pen
-
Attach a new pen needle to the pen.
-
Remove both the outer and inner needle caps.
-
Hold the pen upright and dial a small dose (e.g., 2 units).
-
Press the injection button to expel air until a drop of liquid appears at the needle tip.
🔹 Step 6: Administer the Dose
-
Dial in your prescribed dose.
-
Clean the injection site with an alcohol swab.
-
Insert the needle subcutaneously at a 90-degree angle.
-
Press the injection button fully and hold for a few seconds.
-
Remove the needle and dispose of it safely.
🔹 Step 7: Store the Pen
-
Cap the pen and store it in the refrigerator.
-
Ensure the pen is kept away from light and out of reach of children.
